Grey Goose’s origins are in France, when François Thibault, cellar master at Cognac announces his intention to use his considerable faculties to create a vodka. The locals were skeptical but today, Grey Goose is a vodka appreciated all over the world.

Today, François Thibault oversees every step of the creation of Grey Goose Vodka: from choosing the finest ingredients to designing a process that ensures their natural characteristics are captured in the final vodka. Grey Goose Vodka is distilled only once using a continuous column distillation process, which ensures the quality of the remaining wheat.  Each batch is subject to more than 550 daily quality checks, including personal tasting and approval by François Thibault. Once approved, Grey Goose vodka is bottled and receives the signature cork that serves as a seal of quality.

The ingredients used are: the best winter sweet wheat grown by three local agricultural cooperatives in Picardy. Only the highest quality wheat, Blé Panifiable Supérieur, is selected - the same quality used in the best French breads and pastries. The wheat is sent to a dedicated mill and distillery, then processed into high-alcohol spirits. This wheat alcohol is then perfectly mixed with spring water, naturally filtered through the limestone, from an exclusive well of Gensa-La-Pallue, located in the district of Cognac (region).

Grey Goose is a vodka combining roundness and sweetness with white flowers and citrus. On the palate, it offers freshness and subtlety with a nice length in the finish, characterized by light notes of ginger.
