Akashi Meïsei is a Japanese whisky "blend" and the result of a blend of singles malts ages to 45% in American oak barrels unlike the usual 30%.
Specially designed for the French market, it is a limited edition.
It is produced by White Oak Distillery, known as one of the oldest distilleries in Japan and is owned by Eigashima.
"Meïsei" means "celebrity in Japanese.
